Richmond beats Delaware 20-10
After the game being moved to Richmond due to the horrilbe condition of Tubby Raymond field after homecoming, it was all Spiders. The Spiders' QB Stacey Tutt had an impressive game throwing for 212 yards and adding another 73 on the ground. He also both ran and threw for a touchdown. The trickory of an onsides kick in the first quarter helped put the Spiders up 10-0 early and didn't turn back from there as they were leading 17-3 at the half. From that point on the game went back and forth with missed opportunities and ended in the 20-10 victory for the Spiders. This loss puts Delaware at 3-3 after starting the season 3-0. Things are not going to be easier this week as the Blue Hens take on defending national champion James Madison. A preview of this match up can be found here.
