No. 5 Delaware falls short to Towson 35-31

UD trailed late in the game until QB Sunny Riccio scored on a three yard TD run to put the Hens up 31-28 late in the fourth quarter. Towson answered in the last minute of the game with two long pass plays totaling 62 yards and a roughing the passer penalty that gave the Tigers the ball on the Delaware 3 yard line. Tigers' Running Back Nick Willaims put the ball in for the go ahead score with only seconds on the clock. This gave Delaware there first loss on the season and they are now 3-1. However that was there first conference game so they are 0-1 in the Atlantic 10.
